Replacing the Original Rules

  • I think I may have done severe damage to my new installation by trying to modify rules when I didn't know what I was doing (Real men don't need no stinkin' manuals)
    Is there a way to take the rulesets back to the original fresh installation state (by repair function or replacing some file)?

  • Hi Banjo,

    If you really would like to start fresh you can. Fom the Outpost main window on the File menu select New Configuration. This will bring up the Create New Configuration window from there you can use Automatic Configuration or Configuration Wizard.

    You can also click Skip Configuration which will take you to a Save New Configuration As dialog, so you can save a new configuration without any application rules defined.


  • Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately that selection does not exist in the free version,
    so I see an UNINSTALL/RE-INSTALL coming.
